BlueAir(ways??)

I’ve heard there’s a new airlines in Pakistan. Blue Air or is it airways? Does anyone know or tried? Is it good? I’ve heard it’s private. But is it good? They charge Rs.11,200 for their business class whereas PIA charges Rs.3,200

Why is it expensive than PIA? Is it really that good? Is my info correct?

http://www.airblue.com

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

oo aa ee.... it is only domestic. Is it really as expensive as I've heard?

Thank you for the link.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

Others are Aero Asia & Shaheen. Both of them are international (only flying to Middle East so far). Air Blue is only cheaper if u book well in advance.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

How can their business class be expensive than PIA? Have I been misinformed?

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

PIA is the most expensive for domestic flight for Economy class. I am not sure about bussiness class.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

I travelled with SHaheen Air from Lahore to Quetta -- excellent service, food, friendly/helpfull and professional hostesses and was exactly on schedule!

From Quetta to Karachi we used Air Blue and it was definately way under SHaheen Air. First of all flight was late, rude hostesses, food wasn't good and worst of all they charged us Rs. 1200 cuz we were carrying extra luggage! Whereas Shaheen Air didn't make any problems whatsoever, they e\ven booked all the extra samaan so that we wouldn't have any handluggage (we were travelling with a 10 month old, that's your hands full!)
What I found disappointing about Air Blue is that you have to buy a ticket for an infant but are not allowed to carry any extra luggage for that child! :-/

Yeah so anywayz, didn't like Air Blue

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

i cant wait till air blue starts uk to pakistan flights, should be in a couple of months.

it will most definatly put PIA out of business,

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

Airblue is good, we travelled from Dubai to karachi, karachi to isb--- isb to karachi, karachi to dubai... :)
its good and lot cheaper, I actually found it better than PIA.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

Well for me AirBlue let me go with my 20kg books from ISL to KHI, and they were also very good. Also I know many big companies like PPL and ENI LASMO using airblue for their frequent khi-isl-lhr trips

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

Your PIA amount sounds really low. Recheck that.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

I have a feeling that Airblue is good. Will check from some more people.

Faisal saab, I'll check again. I heard last year that it had reduced the rates due to competition. This year I'll check again, although the competition has been increasing, not decreasing.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

Hamari baat pe yaqeen nahin hai kia??? :hoonh:

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

Sadaf… :crying: ayaa naa…

Pehle apki baat par yaqeen kiya aur PHIR mujhay pata chala (just recently) that their service sucked. Tau mujhay (ab) aapki baat par pura yaqeen hai :crying: Im never gonna trvael by Airblue,

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

^^ yaar waisay I travelled on Airblue when they first started operating from Dubai. So I guess they had to show the good quality etc. But recently my sister came from Pakistan on Airblue, she wasnt happy with the service. So I dont know about it now. The only advantage I see about Airblue is that you can book your seats online and also pay online.
But it has more legspace between the seats than PIA, that’s for sure. I travelled from PIA in September with a toddler, and wasnt happy at all because the seats were too tight. And the food they gave was pathetic and rotten. They gave a sandwich for the lunch with sookhi hooi double roti.

Then I travelled on Airblue after 2 months, there was a major difference. The seats were bigger, more legspace, good food, good staff behavior.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

AirBlue sucks!!

It's run by Chors who owe money to lots of vendors and refuse to pay... actually by the same guy who screwed up PIA, some former MNA guy.

They think that by having young airhostesses people would think its a good airline .... er, maybe they're right on that :-)

Their food sucks, really. only difference is that their cutlery is china and silver, as opposed to PIA's plastic.

The seats are also slightly narrower and have an awkward hump in the middle.

i know its not saying much, but PIA is still the best way to travel in pakistan.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

i thought airblue is owned by jehangir siddiqi, the stock market guy...
but people, it is a budget airline...and when talking about budget flights, we should not be concernd with leg room, and smiling girls, or competition with PIA. simply, its a cheap way to travel fast...and it only travels on short routes, so comfort isnt an issue here for most people....affordability is. now peopel think twice before taking train from lhr to khi. why not pay 1500 more and go by plane in 1.5 hr instead of 16 hr by train? i think airblue is very good deal for the money.

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

What’s MNA? Thanks for the info  Im gonna spread it to all the people :bukbuk:

:jhanda:

boyee: That makes sense

Sadaf, okay. BTW where’s dubai?

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

Re: BlueAir(ways??)

** Wannabe**, its in the middle of the ocean near the burmuda triagle. Jo kuch bhi ghaib hota hie na wahan, tuo Sadaf is all behind it Such!

Sadaf, wo sokhi double roti hostess ki moN pay day marni thi, apnay toddler say keh kay phir with a heart melting smile, u cud’ve said “Ooh Sorry!”

Acha LRH say Peshawar trip pay the snack tray is so cute. Shami kebab, lemon Tart, some fruit, I seriously think they do their shopping from either the Gourmet Bakery for the sandwitches and kebabs, and their pastriyan taste like from gym Khana bakery. Sarah loves their snack trays. Thats the only PIA I like taking for domestic flights that too the folker. Bigger the jahaz, bigger the attitude of the air crew and grosser their food :disgust:
