Blood traits

Do traits get passed on in the blood line?

If a grand dad is a kind man , will that kindness pass on to grand child?

Or if a father is evil , will his kid be evil too?

Re: Blood traits

An apple doesn’t fall far from a tree.

Re: Blood traits

Dont they say, these traits skip a generation?

Re: Blood traits

^ I think, they say beauty skips a generation!

Re: Blood traits

Yeah, but it’s complex. Twin and adoption studies show that genetics play an important role, but obviously so does nurture/environment. The extent to which both nature and nurture affect traits varies for each individual.

Re: Blood traits

Humans learn by observing so if they see kindness around them chances are they will be kind

Re: Blood traits

Definitely, they do pass… I observed that, and genetic studies prove that too…
