What could it mean if you have traces of blood in your urine, but no infection? Should I be concerned?? I do have cysts on my ovaries so could that have something to do with it?
Re: Blood in urine
^^sometimes this could be a result of a urinary tract infection--suggest u go to the doc ASAP
Re: Blood in urine
see a physician ASAP....blood in urine is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly.
Re: Blood in urine
PLEASE see your doctor, Ruiner. Especially these days.
Re: Blood in urine
it is a bladder infection..i have only just recovered from it! i was passing a lot of blood in my urine and was told it was a severe bladder infection- in urdu they say ke jism mein garmi hogai hai, so go to the docs, theyr likely to give you antibiotics x
Re: Blood in urine
someone i know has the same issue. even after MRIs and a full cystoscopy, no cause of bleeding was discovered. doc says microscopic bleeding with no apparent reason happens for some people. and they have to watch their blood hemoglobin/RBC levels more closely as they can over time get anemic.
Re: Blood in urine
Get it checked ASAP. Don't want to scare you off by naming all the big shot diseases over here. Just to be on the safer side contact your doc, it can be as minor as just little infection to kidney prob - but only your doc can tell you based on your history and physical examination.
Hope its nothing serious =)
Re: Blood in urine
i'm sure she's seen a doc, you dont notice "traces of blood" and know you dont have a UTI otherwise.
Re: Blood in urine
^ true. i probably should have explained it better.
the doctor sent the sample to the lab who did a urinalysis and they said there are traces of blood and i have a doc appointment next week and she said to mention it to the obgyn.....but i was just wondering in the meantime if it could be something serious?
Re: Blood in urine
Probably not Ruiner. You should have other symptoms also to indicate a more serious problem.
Don't worry, inshaAllah, all will be well.
