I Just got back from theaters after watching this movie. It is thriller with a very good thought-provoking story line. I think its too serious of a movie for women's liking. But I may be wrong in my anticipation.

A very good movie nevertheless.

Saw it...liked it. Pretty intense. Girl sitting beside me cried...

Saw Apocalypto too...also pretty damn intense, but not the epic I thought it would be. The movie revolves around one character. Not the empire-clashing, grand warfare epic I thought it was. But I liked it.

I saw both Apocalypto and Blood Diamond and both are awesome

Leonardo Di Caprio is awesome as a South African Mercenary. I have had a lot of South African friends in Saudi Arabia and he got the accent right.

Apocalypto was awesome too. Great story and acting.

Both movies are worth watching.

thanks. cant wait to see it. i agree apocalypto wasnt anything like braveheart but it was a great movie in its own category.

Fantastic movie. Loved every bit of it.

Leo was actually acting for a change and his South African accent was so lush!

excellent movie… must watch.. leo did an excellent job .. i love his acting.. he did pull off being a south african very well… although thy say he was supposed to be from zimbabwe where the accent is different i dint really pay pmuch attention to that :rolleyes: never the less a must movie to watch.. although dont take kids to the theatre with u :halo:

Yeh man that was lush, right at the end when he was on the hill killing those folk coming to get him.

I loved it most when he told the reporter lady to ‘peace off’ meant to be ‘piss off’

I think he has new found hotness now.

That was one awesome movie. Great story, direction and a very sensational performance by Dicaprio. I wonder why dont people take his acting seriuosly. His titanic was like a decade old and since then he has given some awesome performances like aviator, gangs of newyork, the departed and this one.

I agree with ladies here that Di Caprio's south african accent was absolutely flawless. Like in the end when he says ' you save your boy han man?'

i heard from one of my friends' who saw Blood Diamond, that the movie is too long...is it?? and even if its long i guess from your reviews, it doesnt lose its pace.

Yeah the movie is quite long but you wont lose interest....
and yeah Nas is just amazing!
