Why don’t you just share your blog link on your facebook page..it will be on your timline, show up on your newsfeed and people can follow it if they so choose.
It’s pretty confusing trying to understand just what exactly you are asking/wanting to do, maybe if you gave more complete posts and not fragments of information, someone here could help you out better

I'm a blogspot blogger as well. I don't think we can remove the G+ profile =\ we just have to deal with it. But you can delete comments just click on the arrow on the right side and remove should be one of the options.
As for followers make social media pages, facebook twitter pinterest etc.
