How do I block people from seeing my entries and posts?

You want to block people from your posts on teh forums or blog entries?
For blog entries, you can make your blog private and allow access to your contacts and friends. but you cannot keep your blog public and block access only for one person.
For posts, you can block specific people so that you dont have to see their posts, however i dont think you can block people from reading YOUR posts (unless they put you on their block list).

I thought there was an ignore list. that if you put a person on the ignore list, they can't see your blog entries?
There should be some mechanism by which you can block people so they can't read what you write. Because obviously there are people that should put other people on ignore, but they don't, and then they get all antsy reading comments that they KNOW they're not gonna like, and then they get all personal and shizza.
So...I need a way to shut them out to put them out of their own misery. If you brilliant techs can find a way to figure out how to do that, it would be an awesome tool to use. I'm sure others can use it on me too; there are some people whose comments I would just prefer not to see around...

PCG , the blog settings are different from the forum settings.
You can definitely make your blog private . All you gotta do is , add the people you like to your contact list. Only they will be able to see your blog entries and comment on them from then on.
When you put someone on Ignore list, you dont see their entries on the forums , but they can still see yours , I think …

PCG, as of now .. the settings are what Sara mentioned. In the future, maybe we can implement what you are suggesting. Technology can do anything nowadays.
I actually want to keep it open, because the whole point of my blog is: The experience of a single working Pakistani girl living in the West.
all of that I write is raw, and its real, and I dont need to hide it from anyone.
But there are clearly people who are so bothered by what I write that they spend the rest of the time going in random threads and fling it in my face, thereby distracting the conversation. It’s not even in your best interest to let this continue happening, because so many threads dwindle down into why-is-PCG-so-hating-of-men discussions. And that forum is about relationships, not about how screwed up my life is.
If I could block them from seeing my blog entries and posts to put their miserable souls to rest, I would prefer that. Otherwise, yeah I can block everyone and put only people on my “contacts” list to be able to view my blog, but that blocks the general public. And there is general public who enjoys viewership of my blog, and like I said, the point is to expose what women like me go through daily to the general public. So I prefer to leave it public.

Honestly rizla, there's nothing in PCG's blogs that would incite hate. People don't have to read it, simple.

^BBQ, I don't think riz said he hates it. He is just pointing out the fact that its a public forum so don't post if you can't hear other peoples views.
