Is there such an option available where I can block other members and not view their posts in threads etc?

That will be an amazing feature to have.
User block option was available in old interface but I do not see it in the new interface. I had blocked some users and do not see their posts in the new interface so blocking is still in effect but I can no longer block additional users or unblock old ones
We used to have "ignore user" option in old interface and it worked very accurately.
I dont see any such option in current one. @us1415 may know more.
Otherwise the standard manual option: Ignore the user and if they keep persisting, leave a note to them either on thread or PM and CC me or any of the mods.
I dont know where the this option was in the old interface but on the new interface you find it by clicking your username on the upper right hand side, chose User Settings, then click on the Account tab and towards the bottom of the page there is a section called Ignore list.

Blockers do all the grunt work, it the glamor boys get all the credit.
