At a news conference today, Blix says that he doesn’t think Saddam will use chemical weapons in the coming war. Fair enough. But, you’d think he might say he bases this on the fact Iraq doesn’t have such weapons or that Iraq can’t quickly create them.
He doesn’t do this. Instead, he says world opinion would turn on Saddam if he used them. "Asked if the government of President Saddam Hussein would care if it were about to be abolished, he said, “Some people care about their reputation even after death.” "

Exactly what reputation does Hansy think Saddam is trying to protect? As a guy who gassed his own people and routinely kills and tortures anyone opposed to him? For the love of God, tell me this guy is not for real.
