Blix Report: No Weapons of Mass Destruction Seen - rubbishes Powell report

Geesh, MV. Nothing satisfies you right wingers. Isn't finding this one bomb and a few hand written papers enough? THEY DON'T HAVE ANY WMD!! THAT WAS THE LAST ONE!

i have a better idea, you guys. Let's just nuke the whole damn country once and for all, men women children the whole lot of them. (Since, of course, we know what's good for them). It will put an end to their unending misery as well as ours. No more Iraqis, no more terrorists.

Let me see what I would have to assume to believe that was the last R-400.

I would need to assume that Iraq dug up 155 R-400 bombs from their two hiding places during the 1991 war (one along the Euphrates River). That Iraq then brought the 155 R-400 bombs laden with anthrax and other biological agents to this supposed destruction site. They dumped them all in the hole. They efficiently and effectively employed some methodology that successfully destroyed 154 bombs leaving no trace of their prior existence. One R 400 was built with material so strong that not only did it survive while 154 of its brothers perished in ash, but it also retained whatever liquid agents Iraq had armed it with. Whichever Iraqis destroyed the bombs were so careless as to overlook the fact that this super R 400 survived the destruction protocol and was still laying in the hole for future discovery.

Now I find myself with a little voice whispering to me over my left wing that I should believe those assumptions, that no more R-400 bombs exist and that pigs have wings and can fly. Over my right wing, all I hear is laughter. Since I like a joke as well as the next guy, I’ll go follow along with my right wing. :rotfl:

Great news. With these positive developments it will strengthen the hand of the “Axis of Peace” (France, Germany, Russia etc) against the “Axis of Warmongers” (US-UK). The Axis of Peace has presented a positive, pro-active and results orienatated plan to the UN Security Council which the Axis of Warmongers should not have a problem with, if they really believed in peace.

"Axis of Warmongers"..... Very apt title.

Allies hushed up weapons’ destruction, Tim Cornwell, The Scotsman, 24 February 2003

THE highest-ranking defector ever to turn informant on Saddam Hussein’s government told United Nations weapons inspectors in 1995 that Iraq had destroyed all its chemical and biological weapons stocks after the Gulf war.

But UN inspectors hushed up that part of Hussein Kamel’s story - which he also told to debriefers from British and United States intelligence - because they wanted to keep the pressure on Iraq to tell more.

The revelation, reported in the US magazine Newsweek, raises new questions over claims by the US and Britain that Iraq has failed to account for vast stores of chemical and biological weapons.

Of the thousands of chemical bombs and thousands of litres of deadly anthrax said to have gone mysteriously missing inside Iraq, most date back to before 1991.

Iraq has long claimed to have destroyed the weapons “unilaterally”, but a regime hardly famous for its honesty and openness is accused of failing to provide hard evidence.

However “the defector’s tale raises questions about whether the WMD [weapons of mass destruction] stockpiles attributed to Iraq still exist” Newsweek reported.

Iraq remains in Material Breach as immediate compliance has not occured.

Blix: Full cooperation by Iraq not yet evident

UNITED NATIONS, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Chief U.N. weapons inspector Hans Blix said on Wednesday that Iraq had not yet made a “fundamental decision to disarm” and still fell short of full cooperation.

All this cooperation. Yet the war mongers continue to cry for war.
