Blind Clerics

Just a general question, why do most militants listen to blind and one eyed clerics? I am not trying to criticize or make fun of someones handicap. This has been on my mind for quite sometime now. U.S has like a few dozen of these “blind furies” stacked away in nice cozy jails, Israel ended up killing Sheikh Yasin (putting up is a finite term), One Eyed Bandit is still in hiding.

Please dont move this to religion, if you would like you may move it to WA or Health and relationships..aka… Life 1.

Re: Blind Clerics

Cos "militants" listen to the message and look beyond the disability... They embrace equality and diversity and they therefore should be something to look up to.

sincerely

Daisy

Re: Blind Clerics

^^ why cant "the militants" listen to the message given by a sane man? It's only a sermon, You mean to tell me that a fiery hate filled sermon is better than a compassionate, talks about love of life, love thy neighbor type message.

Equality and Diversity................OOOOk, thats got to be the biggest joke I have heard so far. You are funny.

Re: Blind Clerics

Hmmmn, are you saying that ALL men with one arm and one eye are not sane, not capable of making compassionate love thy neighbour type sermons?

As for what you say about militants...as far as they are concerned, they ARE listening to a sane man.

Nobody thinks
Oh look theres a one armed bandit...lets go and listen to the ravings of a deranged lunatic.

Many years ago I went to a speech by Abu Humza and he came across as perfectly sane, he spoke with elequence and passion

..... and ended up by telling people that they must go to Bosnia(your homeland I believe) to fight....it didnt matter whether you were boys or girls or whether your mammy or pappy minded.

When you are young and have no direction in your life ...people like these can give you a passion and ferver to do things that you wouldnt ordinarily do.

and these sermons are not necessarily done by one armed blind Muslim chaps.

you remember David Koresh?

and that chap from the Japanese Aum something something group...you know the one...they tried to kill people in the Tokyo underground with ricin (I think) or some deadly biological weapon..

incidently...they also set off a nuclear bomb in the australian outback...something that nobody noticed until years later.

Re: Blind Clerics

Because they know what they are talking about, unlike you verizon.

Re: Blind Clerics

Re: Blind Clerics

Good question Gavrilo…

You see, there was once a great Prophet of Islam named Hz. Ayub :as:…Job in English…

He was stricken with maladies that left him so disfigured that even his own family left him out of repulsion…

A Hadith states about him, that once a maggot fell off from one of his wounds…He picked it up and put it back in the wound saying, “Your Rizq is here”…

Yet, he was one of the mentioned Prophets from whom we learn the lesson of patience…

Then there was a Prophet called Hz. Musa :as:…Moses in English…

He put a burning coal in his mouth as an infant and stuttered throughout his life so bad that his brother Hz. Haroon (Aaron in English) had to speak on his behalf…Don’t believe Charlton Heston in Ben Hur…

From him we learn the power of Faith…

Hz. Ibraheem :as: (Abraham in English) was one who was sacrificing the one thing most adored…His son…

From him we learn the lesson of the Power of Belief…

And so forth many other Prophets (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon them) from whom we learn many different virtues and ways to act upon it…

In Islam we do not judge wisdom by the looks or eloquence of the speaker…It is what’s being said by the person that matters…

That’s why many mods like smiling anchormen…

Re: Blind Clerics

^ thanks for sharing the passages of Koran, old testament and hadith.
Point I am trying to make is that none of the blind bandits are teaching love, patience and other good deeds, what they are teaching is hate and destruction, why is it that only blind bandits show these tendencies. Maybe they missed out on something in life.....

Its tooo much hate coming out of the blind bandits mouths.

Re: Blind Clerics

Grumble, that is a matter of opinion!

you see until you have heard the FULL transcript of what they say, from the first sweet words to the destructive end game you wont understand...

What they DONT do is say..."hi, my names blind mullah man and im going to be your host this evening.... now today im going to order you the love your neighbour...i mean kill your neighbour ...cos it says so in this book from God!"

and as for Love, good deeds and all the other stuff that I have no patience with....it SO Christian

and we cant be having any of that now can we?

Re: Blind Clerics

lol...funny daisy.

Re: Blind Clerics

lady, same thing can be said about the two eyed idiots I mentioned, they destroyed two countries with their lies.
