Ummm, barakah by some folks is defined as a state of mind…so for example, some people may be very well off but never have “enough” while some people are satified with whatever they have. So my definition would be that you have enough for yourself and your family.

Now regarding pictures, yes, most homes do have pics. So yeah, let’s discuss.

People with pictures or photographs are also satisfied with their lives and are living happily ever after. Their role models are those ulemas who’s pictures they see in the newspaper everyday. It gives them the peace of mind that if these ulemas have no problems with their own photographs in newspapers then there is nothing wrong with having pictures on the walls of their own homes.
