now, moving on from that hair thread.. i need help with blemish creams, ointments etc… i have combination skin with an out of control T zone.. its ok during winter.. but now its gettin humid again.. and breaking out.. leaving scars on my chin only for some odd reason…
i need tried and tested blemish removal creams… body shop made their stuff sound so cool.. but i wont be screwed with again
st ives doesnt have good stuff for the general public.. very few actually like their stuff...
i use clean and clear's daily exfoliating scrub.. its very gentle with very small beads.... it kept my face clear for over a month and really controlled the oils... but i think i need something extra for those few blemishes that are dheet enuff to still surface... like a spot treatment to be used just on the blemish itself...
keep em coming ladies... i wanna pick and choose :D
i think proactive is for ppl who suffer from acne....
Hinz: did it also take care of the scarring left by the blemishes?
Legal: cuz i have combination skin and the area that breaks out a lot for such skin types is the T zone (forehead, nose and chin). as i said earlier.. the cleanser i use works great on me.. what i really need now is something to get rid of the scarring left from pimples i got before i started to use the cleanser i am using now.
i dont think anywhere in my post have i given the idea that i “thop” stuff on my face
Last weekend, I used St. Ives apricot scrub with rose water instead of tap water. It was very refreshing and soothing. My mom said my skin did look better and I had only used this specific formula once. I use the scrub itself whenever I get a chance but I guess rose water made it less intense ( as I have sensitive skin) and more effective.
I also have issues with my chin, whenever I get chance I experiment things on it. Sometimes they are effective, sometimes not. Plus, I am y bad at applying stuff on my face meaning I am not consistant, I'll do stuff regularly for couple days but then leave it and won't touch the creams till I am in a mood. Hence I never get to see actual results from specific product/treatment.
I agree with LB in finding the root of the cause first cuz I remember back in high school days i had slight acne that had left marks/discoloration and i tried everything possible. I started with worrying/stressing less about my skin problem first, watched my diet in regards to what would cause me to break out and try to avoid it.
At the same time I scrubbed my face less with various products and stuck with ONE or two thing..
I would highly recommend the “Mild Soap” An extraordinary olive oil and honey cleansing bar. www.dhccare.com
I CAN NOT tell you what this soap did for me!!
I would just gently wash my face with this and moisturize with oil of olay.
I saw that this routine worked for my skin and i stuck to it til i got the results i wanted
but, basically it was this soap that gave me back my face:)
DHC also gives out samples with their first catalog so you should give it a try.
i just remembered i had facial threading done last week.. it was my first time so i didnt connect the 2 together.. but i guess my skin is slowly breakin out due to this... i'll give it a few weeks to clear up and do somethin for the scarring (cuz i pick em )...
The scars dont go away just like that, esp if you pick on 'em
Bad khawa you should be spanked.
If you are that worried bout 'em I'd say bleach 'em they'll fade away and then come back.
Perm. solution would be a peel course which is expensive.
Its upto you. Green peel is not really for young skin its for more mature (older ppl) skin with lots of pigmentation and wrinkles. I dunno why ppl recommend green peel for younger skin, its a waste of money cause they are expensive.
Go for a glycolic, a set of 5 in a row will get rid of any scars.
Facial threading and waxing is a big no no missy. Its a sure fire way of havin breakouts.
hai allah no no Legal.. no peels sheels.. i’ll just let them work it out on their own… i was born with the habit of touchin my face.. i dont know.. i just do it all the time… mom says as a baby she would put mittens on me.. maybe she should do it now too
