Can you stop gatherings in market places, schools and streets? Government should improve its intelligence infrastructure. If they need to ban something it's the religious organizations and masraaaahs propagating this madness of chaos and death.

Why not ban sectarian madrasahs instead? Our problem is not urs but suicide bombers who target any place where they find congregation of people. Moon market blast resulted in the lost of lives in the range of 100-400.

If the argument for banning urs is that it agitates the Taliban kind of people, then my justification is that by banning it we are giving in to them. Today it's urs tomorrow it would be something else and within no time we'd be a Taliban state in any case.

Sure. Ban them. But don't forget to ban juma prayers all across the country as well. Markets should be closed also. Close all schools. Stop issuing visas to all foreigners and ask all foreigners to leave the country. *Until the operation of NWA.

I think it would be best that government ban all Juma gathering, because it is possible that Taliban may attack them. Right?
Well, I think if Government want to reduce terrorism in Pakistan than they should ban all Thursday gatherings at Deobandi mosques (as that is recruitment fare for terrorists), all gatherings at Raiwand and also ban all Madrasas that have reputation of preaching hate and supporting Khawarijs.
At least government should permanently ban all known Madrasas from where any of terrorists have originated, especially their leaders.
Government should also confiscate wealth of any person involved in giving donations to these madrasas and donation to any terrorists organisations.
That would surely help reduce terrorism in Pakistan and would also help operation against Khawarij terrorists.

To those who are in favor of these gatherings, may it be URS or jalsa or sitin... Or any other gathering which is not like markets or of strategic nature can never have the level of security markets, schools or strategic assets can or should acquire during the war times... Let me remind all here that we are in open war against these terrorists who lives within our society.... And who live never leg go any chance of hitting back...probably right now looking for a soft target to provide moral support to their fighters and message to their financiers that we still are able to strike hence keep your cheques ready...

Looks like someone just opened their eyes, we have been "at war" for long, why other long marches/gatherings were condoned, now their favorite party is in charge suddenly they realize that country is at war so no body must do any 'gathering/marches'.

PMLN wants to ban processions in any case, the excuse now are NWA operations and terrorism. The real reasons though seem to be their dictatorial mindset where they dont want any dissent.
