Many hardcore Muslims and militants oppose followers of the Sufi interpretation of Islam, a moderate belief system based on mysticism which they think is closer to Hinduism than Islam. That is the reason Sufis are targetted in Pakistan.

Sufism close to hindusim!!! I wonder what else is taught in Indian schools.
