Two thoughts:

1. Junaid Jamshed has been spouting misogynistic nonsense against women in general for a long time. He only gets in trouble when he includes a specific woman in his misogyny.

2. If forgiveness and tauba can get JJ off the hook, then why not Asia Bibi and others?

i dunno about the details of the case but as far as i understand, apology is not a legally accepted defense. it rather amounts to accepting guilt.

besides, it is possible that she did not want to apologize because she thinks and believes that she did not say/do anything derogatory to our Prophet [saws].

Then you criticized JJ despite he has openly asked forgiveness and you created doubt in his sincerity.

Then you do not want people to accept Asia bibi moaafi nama (apology) even if it is alleged. But used words like “it is possible”.
