You can not blame religion? What. Religion by man then used by man. Yes I do blame religion. History is full of blame examples. BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD. It is a means and ways to control the populace, gain power and amass lands. There is so much anger against people who criticise and question religions intent. Historically and in modern periods real examples of heinous acts . We spend so much time defending that we don't even see how it is used in reality. To promote and inculcate from moment of birth Homophobia, mysogyny, racism , genocide , sexism .
It is about time we question religion. What has it begotten and fueled ?extremism, fundamentalism , islamfacists, nazi facism, catholic facism and zionist extremists. The state of nirvana is non existent for many.
How have the Taliban used the Quran. EXACTLY How have the Catholics used the BIBLE. EXACTLY How have the Christian Funadamentlist used the BIBLE. EXACTLY How have orthodox zionists used the TORAH. EXACTLY.

Practiscing asceticism brings spirituality or is it a manifestation of self hatred and not empathy.
Is it possible for good teachings and spiritual philosophies to be absorbed form Bahai , Christianity, Bhuddism, Confucious (sp), Islam, Hindusim, Scientology, Judaism, Taoism , Shinto, Mormonism, Unificationism, Zaroastrianism(sp), Wiccanism, Neopaganism . Perhaps enlightenment of soul comes from not only one faith but studying the good teachings and philosphies of all faiths and encompassing the basic principles to understanding ourselves and others. Enlightenment and seeking goodness is perhaps the path to earthly desires of peace, tranquility and compassion to self and others around.
To control and bind a mind to one faith without exploring all faiths I believe limits the experience of self awareness and the pursuit of a spiritual path which can be true only to one self as we individually experience life.. My spiritual path is true only to me , its not true to you as we are not one. We are many. But collectively we must share , dialogue and inter-relate based on attaining goodness through following positive enlightment of all philosphies and religions. THere is an absolute commonality. A desire for gender equality , for intellectual property , and for harmony with earth and all life which has sprung from her.
It's myopic vision which sprouts discord, strife , ill will and evil deeds.
Knowledge is absolute power. It is a gift to self and I believe we should all be on a path to seek and explore without dogma limiting our sight and mind and from this well of knowledge the ability to experience 'togethernism' while practising individualism.

Explore any or all religions all you want. Don't confuse your 'desired' extraction of other religions and mixing it with Islam as Islam. If you don't find yourself fit to follow Islam as a whole, then you should question yourself and your faith, Don't go around expecting Islam to change just because you cannot find yourself following it whole heartedly. Because in essence Islam is a pretty logical and easy religion to follow. Islam maybe for everyone, but everyone might NOT be for Islam. Maybe you need to work harder at understanding Quran and the religion as a whole.
Your rhetoric about all religions evil, blah blah blah, doesn't achieve anything but just shows that you lack understanding. Simple as that. You fail to understand and see that it is people who do mischeivous things and because they belong or claim to belong to a certain religion, the blame instead of going to them as individuals, goes to Religoin. Islam in particular.
Have you ever heard anyone being called Christian terrorist? or Jewish Terrorist? Be honest here now....i'm sure you're all ethical people with much character. It's real obvious when it comes to muslims they're Islamic Terrorists and the blame's rapidly shifted to the religion as a whole and the Holy Quran.
How about pointing out and blaming the people who commit heinous acts for once and show some character.
