If you want to justify (i mean You in general), then you can pretty much justify anything, even murder. It's the moral responsibility that counts.
What was the intention behind Muhammah (pbuh)'s cartoons? I mean c'moooon....it becomes obvious after some time that the intention is not educational or constructive criticism but rather jumping the bandwagon and defaming a religion.
Some muslims that act against the Quran, does not give him the right to criticize Quran and say its the Book that encourages Terrorism. He should instead make a video on those misguided people, so everyone can see that it's these bad apples that make everyone else look bad.
That's more constructive i'd say. You cannot blame a religion for people's actions, rather u should blame the people's actions who make the religion look bad.
You can not blame religion? What. Religion by man then used by man. Yes I do blame religion. History is full of blame examples. BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD. It is a means and ways to control the populace, gain power and amass lands. There is so much anger against people who criticise and question religions intent. Historically and in modern periods real examples of heinous acts . We spend so much time defending that we don't even see how it is used in reality. To promote and inculcate from moment of birth Homophobia, mysogyny, racism , genocide , sexism .
It is about time we question religion. What has it begotten and fueled ?extremism, fundamentalism , islamfacists, nazi facism, catholic facism and zionist extremists. The state of nirvana is non existent for many.

Practiscing asceticism brings spirituality or is it a manifestation of self hatred and not empathy.
Is it possible for good teachings and spiritual philosophies to be absorbed form Bahai , Christianity, Bhuddism, Confucious (sp), Islam, Hindusim, Scientology, Judaism, Taoism , Shinto, Mormonism, Unificationism, Zaroastrianism(sp), Wiccanism, Neopaganism . Perhaps enlightenment of soul comes from not only one faith but studying the good teachings and philosphies of all faiths and encompassing the basic principles to understanding ourselves and others. Enlightenment and seeking goodness is perhaps the path to earthly desires of peace, tranquility and compassion to self and others around.
To control and bind a mind to one faith without exploring all faiths I believe limits the experience of self awareness and the pursuit of a spiritual path which can be true only to one self as we individually experience life.. My spiritual path is true only to me , its not true to you as we are not one. We are many. But collectively we must share , dialogue and inter-relate based on attaining goodness through following positive enlightment of all philosphies and religions. THere is an absolute commonality. A desire for gender equality , for intellectual property , and for harmony with earth and all life which has sprung from her.
It's myopic vision which sprouts discord, strife , ill will and evil deeds.
Knowledge is absolute power. It is a gift to self and I believe we should all be on a path to seek and explore without dogma limiting our sight and mind and from this well of knowledge the ability to experience 'togethernism' while practising individualism.
