Next time when you are boiling rice add some whole garam masala and salt to the water so the rice have some flavor too even if they are not completely covered with masala.

Also I think you should have enough gravy and not adding extra water may have prevented that. The packet instructions normally tell you to add water so you have almost 2 cups of gravy.. so yea maybe that’s why.

As for now, just make a spicy raita to go with it.

Yeah but usually when I have alot of gravy, the rice ends up runny and mushy…i wantd them a little “dry”
