hey guys. well I used to have a serious acne problem but mashallah all of it is gone now. But I still have some blackheads and scars left around. Can someone give me the name of a good blackhead remover lotion. I need something over the counter from CVS, drug emporium etc etc. Don’t give me any prescription medicine.

or u could go to the bodyshop and ask them to recommend some good face washes to remove the blackheads

best thing for blackheads is steaming the face and then taking them out using that metal stick thing with a loop on the end..... i duno where to get it from but that wat every beautician uses

^you can get them from the bodyshop or boots or any chemist for that matter. best to use it right after you'v showered.

Best way, is as already mentioned, to steam your face and remove the blackhead with a blackhead extractor.They look much more scary than they are.
Or once a week, steam your face, then use a face scrub, and finish off with a deep penetrating face mask. That should help keep them at bay.

blackhead extractor? What is that? A tool of some kind like a tweezer?

It's metal tool used to extract blackheads deep from the pore, it has a 'loop' that you use to scoop the blackhead out with. Hard to explain, maybe someone else can explain it better.

I use St.Ives Apricot Scrub. I wouldnt use a tool for my face if somebody paid me. Oh yeah my face is clear mashAllah :p dont nazar lagah.

I am not too hot about the idea of cooking my face and poking at it with a sharp object. Can someone tell me the name of a cream I can use.

Gently steaming your face is hardly cooking it, and you don’t poke at the blackhead with the extractor (you’ll just scar your skin if you did that) but scoop them out.

I best way to take off blackheads is to steam your face a bit..use scrub often as part of face cleansing routine. Usually in canada, in esthetic schools they have stopped using those metal blackheads remover which Shahreen mentioned. Here, the estheticians just use a tissue paper and their fingers to pinch out blackheads during the facial. Secondly, if you see an esthetician they will not recommend the blackhead removing strips as they contain glue and they take off sections of layers of your skin. If you can't do anything by yourself just visit a spa for a mini treatment of facial extractions.
