Black magic

Re: Black magic

Do you know how to read? Go back to my very first post in this thread where I started out by saying that magic cannot be blamed for every single mishap or misfortune that takes place. Somehow you have got it into your head that all the folks that believe in in the possibility of nazar/magic will always blame their problems on these two things…that they are unable to consider other possibilities or unable to use cause and effect reasoning. When I fall sick, when I get into an accident, when the school that I teach at fares poorly on some standardized test…I don’t rush to the conclusion that magic or the evil eye are at work. I try to consider all angles and factors. But I would never go as far as to say that magic doesn’t exist at all because if Allah has mentioned it, it exists and to say that it doesn’t is a transgression. So, firstly I would consider all factors in a problem and also I know my audience. Most likely the audience at Apple would consist of folks with YOUR kind of mindset who find themselves to be sooo modern that they would mock any mention of the unseen. And I wouldn’t give them the chance to mock my religion. So, I know my audience. Stop thinking that just because Muslims believe in the existence of jinns and shaitan and the evil eye …that they are stupid and incapable of using deductive reasoning skills. With that said, you need to know your audience as well. The majority audience on this forum are Muslims and many of them are very intelligent and capable of seeing cause and effect relationships but ALSO believe in the unseen because it’s a required tenet of their faith.
