Black Magic Question -- Please help!

I don’t believe in black magic, but, nevertheless given the ‘jahaalat’ of some around you, I want to be on guard. Is it possible for someone to take away belongings like your shoes or your chappals and do black magic on them (without returning them them to you) so that it affects you? Or does the personal belonging have to be returned to you (and you actually use it) after being black-magic-ed on (for lack of a better word) in order to affect you?

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

So do you believe in it or dont?

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

I don't want to, at the same time, don't want to be caught off guard if some crazies here are doing what may actually be beyond my comprehension

Re: Black Magic Question – Please help!

Black magic on Prophet :saw2: was done by casting a spell on his hair that were stuck in his comb. A jewish boy stole it from him and gave to the jewish magician.

So a short answer is that yes magic may need to be done on something that you have touched, but it does not need to come back to you for the magic to work

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

Best guard is to protect through masnoon aamal. all else comes later.

Recite 4 quls/ayat ul kursi after fajr and maghrib.

Re: Black Magic Question – Please help!

There is nothing supernatural about dumb people being taken advantage of by clever people through their tricks on them. Just like a grown up plays tricks on a baby.

Re: Black Magic Question – Please help!

But it was not done on the comb, right? Here’s my story: I’m suspecting of someone stealing my chappals with the intent of phoonking something on them. However the twist is that my prime suspect was himself wearing the said footwear (once) before they disappeared (he borrowed and returned them). I highly doubt there’s any hair or anything on them. Would it still be possible? Also, can it be done on your via photographs?

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

I'm pretty sure it was done to me and it's bad. I'm still trying to shake it off.

I think bottom line your best bet is prayer and even then someone so holy as the Prophet had it done on him. Does anyone know whether the manic had effect or it just bounced off the Prophet (SAW) ?

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

does Islam teach you to be vary of other Muslim brothers/sisters and create a society where people are on guard from something that is not tangible...this leads to chaos in society and cause friction between them which might lead to evil deeds to counter it...

...it's against the spirit of Islam and it's teachings where Muslims are encouraged to treat other Muslims as their own brothers/sisters.

we see this nonsense in our culture to the point where it's so ridiculous. anything unexplained or any ailment or any mental disorder is automatically considered a spell and then where all those criminal aamils/kaamils come in to take advantage of us.

i consider it to be jihaalat!

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

Not looking for judgement calls here -- just asking a simple question that can black magic be phoonked on your chappals or photo etc.

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

It can be done through things in your use.

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

I'll tell you something creepy. Not sure if this was the object that was used, BUT, a girl we were told was doing jadoo on us. She had ordered from a mutual friend some churian for both of us, and naturally, the suspected jadoogarni got identical churian.

My life and troubles started getting better when I threw out the churian.

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

^ Creepy!

Last week i was told by this Jadoogarni woman (long story) that she would do 'it' on me now!
She looked into my eyes, and said that so firmly!
I was just trying to verbally protect my mother from her,i wasn't being 'batameez' or anything.

Not that i don't have more problems in my life already :(

But i'm firm with faith in Allah (swt), Alhumdulillah!
So,not exactly worried.
I was just shocked as to how such people can think so high of themselves, as if things lie in their hands. Astaghfirullah.

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

in nutshell if you believe such things then it would affect you because its domain only opens to you when you have room for such things. also if you are wicked then it will touch you but if you believe in ALLAH and HIS ultimate powers then these things cant even touch you.if you are regular reader of holy Quran then your nafs would be charged every time and no external attack would be successful upon you.those who have a blind faith in لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إلاّ بِاللهِ الْعَليِّ الْعَظيمِ are free of such worries which you have indicated.

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

Plus there r many duas to protect urself frm such things
Specially when u go out of ur home just say "Bis Millaah Tawakallt Ala Allaah"
N u r protected by an angel , Subhaan Allaah
Deen is so easy but we make it difficult !

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

would you then be suggesting that, nauzobillah, the beloved prophet did not have a firm belief that he was affected by the magic?

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

Magic on prophet (pbuh) is based on weak traditions and basically it was anti-Islamic jewish propaganda who used to call the prophet (pbuh) "Mashoor" (under a spell). I simply can't accept for a moment that his mind could have been affected by whatever his enemies did.

Re: Black Magic Question – Please help!

Peace stalker,

Watch this video (english subtitle) so you may aware from what is the black magic and how it is done on somebody

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

^ very interesting video. Interestingly, one woman our family goes to for help with doing ishtikharas - she will ask the mother's name. But she comes in religious garb, and is always advising our family on which surahs and ayats to read etc. Very strange that she asks for the mother's name - never understood it, and I'd often caution my family that why would a woman of God be needing someone's mother's name to tell you whether that person is ill-willed towards you?

Re: Black Magic Question -- Please help!

pcg: who did black magic on you and why? and how do you know that someone has done black magic on you? can black magic harm people like physically?

I have another question for some religious people here. Can black magic cause actual illnesses like cancer or does it just feel like someone's done black magic? like how do you know?
