Beauticians are VERY stubborn and INSIST on making you fairer..and will put that white gunge on with force if necessary. Even f you take along your own foundation they refuse to apply it. Silly.

after having 3 wedding receptions, 2 of them with pakistani trained beauticians....no one pushed anything on me at all...THey were all really nice about listening to my suggestions and even though they may have pushed for some aspects (more dramatic eyes then i would have thought) they explained their reasoning (Dramatic outfit..my eyes would get lost if they didn't do them more) and she listened to me regarding not wanting white...
i say buy your own base and make sure they use it...
