Did any of you purchase any nifty gadgets for Black Friday (USA) ?
In Canada we don’t have it…but this whole week they are having loads of sales going on so that they keep the Canadian consumers from hopping the border…so am going to check out some stuff later n in the week…

I went to Frys Electronics. Had a blast looking around. They had some awesome looking tablets and strange devices that looked like tablets. I want a new headset. The aisle was empty, just some cheesy looking neon flashy stuff hanging by the time I got there.
So no, I didn't get anything.

I was able to convert one of my home PC's to work as a Nintendo Wii.

hmmm....I saw on the news the huge line-ups and also the stupid incidents that happened while waiting for the shops to open!

Didn't buy anything either but I know a ton of people that went across the border. Canada is trying to do the whole black friday thing but its not working.

^I also think it is coz of the Canadian Dollar being stronger than the US now...so it is still cheaper to go across the border....

Even when it wasn't things are cheaper in USA. Not always by a lot but one definitely saves by going down south.
