wat do u guys think? a cousin of my sister’s frend wore a black bridal for her walima. apparently, it was very pretty lehenga with silver embroidery…i haven’t seen it tho..
would any of u wear a black bridal for ur wedding? i noe most go for the traditional red bridals, but still. i want ur opinions
As much as a black outfit flatters any body shape, I'd never consider it as a wedding outfit! Weddings, especially in our culture, are big, happy and very colourful events! The colour black doesn't fit in with that description at all! As a sleek and elegant kaam hui vi sari for a post-wedding dawat definitely, but not any actual wedding function!
in most cultures black is considered bad luck for weddings…i wouldn’t wear it just to stay on the safe side even if it is one of my most fav colors to wear
try dark brown or dark purple, photographically many times the dark purple looks black…it’s a win win

ur rite...i wonder y the frend didn't choose another color for her valima :D
black is considered bad luck etc etc in SOME cultures, but technically luck and believing in all this bad omen bull-crap is technically HARAM!
so if you wana wear black its just another colour, my cousin wore black and hot pink on her brothers walima, she looked stunning, i also love the following and am considering.
Also my friend recently got married and wore Navy on her Walima, pastels are a thing of the past, its all about Navy’s, Blacks, Plums and deep burgandy’s!!
in our fam black is sooo not done, specially in ""warrie"" n ''jehez'' no black stuff :|
but yeah do luv black though so stillwearin it but do try to avoid it
