Would a black lehenga go with an off white shirt and green dupatta? Or would gold look better for the lehenga part?

I agree with Gina but if you really want black then go for the colour combination that I posted. It is unique and would work well if the dupatta is deep purple or navy blue or may be deep forest green.
Black would go well with pink, I guess. See Fahad Hussayn’s collection for black lehnga ideas.

black lenga, off white shirt with off white duppatta maybe with black border....as black isnt the in colour for weddings so it has to be brought in gradually..

Use black for accents/pipings, using it for an entire article of clothing will look bad I thnk.

I rejected the black too. I discussed this with Fahad Hussayn and we finally decided on muted gold for the sharara, off white for the shirt with dull gold kaam and green stones and a bottle green dupatta with dull gold, mustard and green stone kaam.
I paid my deposit today and OMGGGG it's such a relief. Now I won't be going around changing my mind every day. This is my nikaah outfit and I totally dread the decision about rukhsati/walima outfits in the future :(
