It’s a sophisticated colour. My mum didn’t like me wearing black growing up but she eventually ‘got with the times’ and even started wearing it herself, lol. It’d probably take a bit of convincing if I chose to wear it on my wedding though (whenever that may be dreams)

I agree with mixing it with another colour. Safe choice! :wink:

Black, Emerald Green and Gold combination …a little unusual but stunning!!! Also gives you an idea of how you can incorporate your colors into the overall theme :

Although black is such a classy colour it isnt very festive … so I would suggest pairing it with some bright colors (like the combo above) so that you stand out more.

I agree with Malism, about black being 'too-classy-to-be-festive'. But at the same time I think that the idea of combining black with an altogether bright color would give just too stark a thing to wear.

The beauty of the above green and black lies in the fact that a rich shade has been coupled with black.
