**Mumbai: **Looks like the close friendship that Gauri Khan and Sussanne Roshan have shared for some time now has also cemented the relationship between their respective husbands – Shah Rukh and Hrithik. While both stars are technically competitors in the industry, they’ve developed a camaraderie that’s becoming obvious to Bollywood watchers. And it’s especially significant given that most other leading stars – from Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and even Ajay Devgn – are perceived as anti-SRK.
Shah Rukh and Hrithik are set to star in a joint production, thanks in most part to the close bond between their wives.
DNA has now learnt that SRK and Hrithik are on the verge of taking their friendship to the next level as business partners. Their companies – Red Chilles and FilmKraft – are collaborating for a movie that will see both superstars share screen space after a gap of almost a decade.
A highly placed source revealed, “Gauri and Sussanne have brought SRK and Hrithik closer and they are seriously planning this business proposition. The last time they teamed up as actors was for Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and it was a major hit. So this time as well, we can expect a mega budget extravaganza. Maybe the two will play brothers again but things are still in the planning stage. Most probably Rakesh Roshan will direct the movie.”
Apparently the groundwork for the movie has been on for some time, the only issue being when – rather than if – to go ahead with the project. “It looks like the movie will take off in 2011 as both of them will be relatively free from their current commitments. Hrithik and SRK not only share a great bond, they are also thorough professionals. Hrithik ignored his doctor’s advice to dance for Krazzy 4 because it was a family production. Even SRK is so committed that he’s known to work non-stop for 30 hours. Gauri and Sussanne are ecstatic about the development.”
While SRK and Hrithikwere busy shooting, DNA contacted Rakesh Roshan who neither confirmed nor denied the news.
