bitcoins are used for illegal drug purchase, online gambling and also for money laundering.

I just meant its not the fault of the currency if its used for illegal purposes. Bitcoin concept is messing with the brains of the financial industry. First they tried to deny it, now they are scared of it. Soon they will try to legitimize and tax it.

People are being encouraged to use credit/debit cards and not use regular currency (dollar or rupees). As they can't track its usage. Everything is about control.
