@Chicken_Biryani

Do you read any dua’s or Bismillah before starting to cook?

Sometimes I get told off my elderly ladies in the family on how the new generation ignores the dua’s that bring barakah to the food we eat. Perhaps its true , or not … dont know …

what do you guys think?

Regardless of whehter is true or not…it cannot be harmful or a sin is it? I’m not sure…thats why i ask.

@Niksik

My daughters have reminded us to read duas before everything…when I see my choti stop before entering the bathroom to read the dua or wait a second before saying the dua for milk, food, etc…I feel embarassed and try to remind myself.

Thats adorable
