Are you saying that you set your birthday in your profile and it was altered?
It is possible that while migrating data from the old version, your birthday (especially if it was left blank) may be filled with incorrect date. However, if you set your birthday in the new version of GupShup, it should/will not be altered by the system.

Well, that’s not true. I’ve updated my DOB several times in the new version but it is still 31st of Dec on my profile. For God’s sake, I did not wait until the last day of the year. I was in a hurry and excited :o

Last time I viewed my profile, it said 31st of Dec. Im sawwiiee, it is correct now… so there’s no prblm
