Sometimes you can’t choose. My aunty (my maamie) had masha Allah 4 boys with c-section. They’re all healthy and fine, alhamdulilah. She was in trouble during the birth of her firstborn. He’s born in Pakistan. His birth is now a family story. Most of our family lives in Kotli (Kashmir) and my aunty, in laborpain and all, had to be taken to Pindi. There my cousin was born finally. After that she moved here and had all her other children by c-section too.
There was something with her body that made it difficult for a normal delivery. But she never had pregnancy problems despite of the c-sections.

Well I said, if i didn’t have to, I wouldn’t… i herd of women opting for c section coz they hav to get to work or somethin..

The Khala of my wife had her 5th C-section a few months ago. And she is fine as well as all her 5 kids.

Oh yes, there was this show once on tv here, about modern cosmetics and the dangers of it. You know, it was about fat people having their stomachs operated, to make them smaller so they can’t over eat anymore, it is not always safe, it’s actually quite risky, they were discussing stuff like that and it’s dangers.
Well, the topic of body changes after giving birth came up. And one of them said several actresses and more rich people are actually without medical necessity opting for c-sections. They want to keep their body shapes (avoid having wider hips because of the baby popping through 
) and the c-section is then performed in such a way that it’s not ugly later. No marks or scarfs. Can’t remember what they exactly do.
Can you believe it, nowadays giving birth is actually a part of cosmetic surgery too!

I'm about to have my baby in 2-3 weeks Insahallah and I really want a natural Birth, as a C-Section! I agree with Mamaof3, that there are more risks for the mother with a c-section as natural birth, but if there is a medical reason for a c-section than thats something else.
I dont know about the pain of birth, but in longer term, curing after natural birth is much faster than an operation.
But I too have heard that its possible to have regular birth after c-s.

Well gastric bypass isn’t a cosmetic thing… those ppl are like 400 lbs, really really overweight.. once they hav that surgery they wud opt for lipo/tummy tucks/augmentation a year or two later cozof all the loose skin.
Hey so natural birth gives u wider hips?? Great, I dont hav any hips to begin with, maybe that’ll gimme some shape

what do the actresses do about stretch marks? They can't be avoided since they occur naturally when your belly stretches so much. I dont think they have any cosmetic surgery to recover from stretch marks yet.

They put a lot of cremes on em, i think they get em chemically removed? also there's airbrushing which is a lot of wat happens in magazine and photo shoots..
