Re: Birth controle & Islam
Please enlighten us. The non-married person seems to know an awful lot about this subject.
It is rather good if she's knowledgeable. She is only exploring Islamic perspectives on her ideas. :P

Where is Islam in all this convo? So far I've been reading comments like, "I don't like rubber", "I don't wanna take pills on daily basis", "condoms reduce pleasure" etc etc.
I think the OP wants us to give fatwas against condoms and pills. The thread is more about OP's preferences.

Thats just your point of view, no reality. So I am not going to explain anything to you, it will be useless :D
Re: Birth controle & Islam
then what do you want?
Re: Birth controle & Islam
Hmmm I think I just dont wanna rubber between us :P
I am already taking pills but I want to stop and want someting I dont need to think about everyday and since I dont want kids for at least 3 years I think its a good idea to get an implanon in my arm. However, If you use condoms, you get interrupted, that seems not so cute.
You don't want kids for at least 3 years (and you stated YOUR reasons for this earlier). You don't want to take pills b/c it's inconvenient for you to take it daily. And you don't want condoms b/c you don't want to be interrupted. And based on the last 2 preferences, you believe implant is a good idea.
You've already made plenty of decisions regarding your future sex life on your own without having a single conversation with your fiance or a gynocologist. I'm not quite sure if there is any other "advice" anyone here on GS can give you to help you with this topic. Actually, since the decisions are already pretty set in your mind.....I'm not sure why you're even asking us these questions.

I see many of you dont read first what exactly was said and make up an image what you want. You are so typical.
First of all I wanted to know what is allowed in Islam using contraception.
Thats reason that I didnt talked about it to MY LOVE & gynocologist, because I felt the need to know FIRST what ISLAM says about it.
After that I began about MY preferences, yes I dont want to use a condom and pills if islam allows something like implanon.. If I feel thats easier for me, then Why not?
I think there is nothing wrong with doing something what you like if you do it in limits.
Typical example of not having the ability to think out of the box.
Take my advice: next time pay some attention when you read and please think twice!
;)

Hmm... Just wondering how old you are xD

Hahahaha.....really? Is that the best you can do with personal insults? At 21 you're quite a bit younger than I am so I'll let all the snide comments slide due to your lack of experience with LIFE in general. :)
See....the problem with every single one of your posts is that its all about YOU. It's always "I". Not one single time have you stated anything beginning with "we"(ie. no mention of the man you'll be having sex with). This may seem like a major shock to you but in a marriage....it's about partnership. Especially issues related to sex and childbearing........in a healthy marriage....BOTH people have a say in it. Do yourself and your future husband a big favor and stop thinking in terms if "I". It'll save BOTH of you from a lot of arguments and stress in the future.
As far as contraception is concerned.....pills and implants both have their potential side effects. Condoms also have their potential side effects (ie. being interrupted). Making a decision on what specifc contraception should be used without discussing it with the man who will be having sex with you is disrespectful towards him b/c it shows a total lack of regard for HIS opinions.
Oh and also, don't ASSUME things about your fiance/husband. If you have not asked him about his thoughts on this....then how do you know for a fact that your fiance doesn't know what Islam says about this? How do you know he himself has not already done the research on this as far as Islam is concerned? Once again, ASSUMING that he does not have the knowledge you're seeking is disrespectful towards him.
And yes, I look forward to reading more about what YOU want and what YOU think (since you haven't bothered to discuss this with your fiance due to YOUR personal reasons....at this point all you can really talk about is YOU regarding the issues that will also effect your fiance). :)

Funny, I was just wondering the same thing about you :)
You should really talk to your love about contraceptives and your plan.
I'm sure there are a lot of religious scholars who are against contraceptives just like there are a lot of who are for it.
So it really depends on you and your partner.

Wake up, whats the positive of being elder then me if you are behaving so unmature?
Saying so many wrong things about someone you even dont know?
Its funny how you made such a small thing so big... Cant believe this.
I hope you dont do this with everyone arround you, feeling sorry for them.
You better go make Indian soaps then hurting people in real life without reason.
In few seconds you made up a story about me while you know nothing about me.
No one ever used such harsh words for me.
I am trembling, believe me.
I hated indian soaps because of this, didnt know this kind of people really exist. Really sad.
