Birth Control

Re: Birth Control

People are gonna play no matter what the consequences. Pakistan is a great example of how people play and build cricket teams they can’t afford.

Re: Birth Control

^ Problem is in Pakistan, you get greeted with the mullah attitude of disinclining to cooperate when you try to exert any population control measures on your people so that there is less economic burden.

What is the status of birth control in Pakistan? How accessible? Last I checked, they were actually open to the morning after pill, which the conservative Christians in the USA are still fighting about.

Re: Birth Control

Birth Control is pretty accessible in the cities. However the poor don’t have information on how to use basic contraceptives, let alone the morning after pill. Lack of public awareness on issues of reproductive health is a major problem.

Birth Control

The morning after pill is readily available over the counter in Pakistan. There are plenty of wives who rely on it for contraception there because their husbands don’t like condoms and they themselves don’t want to be on bcp. And I’ve heard this straight from married girls/women living in Pakistan, like it was no big deal.

Re: Birth Control

World population is 7 billion. Yes it should be readily available everywhere.

You guys totally switched the topic from bc pills covered by taxes to bc pills being available. I have no problem about them being available. I just don’t think that taxpayers should be burdened with the cost.

Re: Birth Control

If people cant afford it on their own then its not really helping. What I meant by readily available was that yes it should be covered by taxes. I’d rather support this than many other things our taxes pay for.
