yep, I think she will be better off with the pill that stops the periods, I believe it's called norethisterone tablets - it should be taken 3 times a day until she wants her periods to be delayed, once she's okay she could get off the medicine and the periods will resume. I don't believe there are any adverse side effects, but then again, I am not sure. She could definitely look into it as a solution.
