Most Good Gynecologists would rather suggest you to AVOID, Contraceptive and Birth Control Pills due to Side effects that Like Obesity, hormonal Disorder ......

First bit yes, second bit no.. There are possible side effects and a small chance of problems (as with practically any type of pill inc paracetamol) but I've yet to hear of any doctor warning a healthy woman off using them..

You dug up a 5yr-old thread on birth control.. There are newer ones in other sections of GS..

I do know of someone who actually lost weight on the pill so she stopped taking them.

go to any sabz sitara clinic, they are for this purpose only, for family planning.
