Your husband is not an etnic pakistani right? Did you contact the pakistani embassy in Australia? What I know is that to get a birth certificate from pakistan you have to contact the local authorities, not all births were registered around that time so it might be a bit difficult getting the birth certificate without having some kinds of contact back in pakistan. Maybe someone can get u the contact nr of of quetta hostital where u could ask for information. I hope someone else might be able to help more.
The Mission Hospital in Quetta can be directly contacted. These hospitals ahve an excellent track keeping record. They should be able to guide you.get someone in Quetta to help out first.take the lead from there.its a lot of work and you may be able to get somewhere but you need to work a lot on it.The Hospital can also help you register anew and make a birth certificate now, with the dates you require. But you have to get in touch with the Hospital or the admin and work all the way.it would help if you have someone in Quetta.Meanwhile scroll the net to see if they have a chain.i know they have one in peshawar,I think. You have to knock a few doors. It always gives leads.best of Luck.
