It is not very clear on PIA Website how much luggage is allowed fro UK in economy and business class. Anyone here beed recently or knows for sure?

40 kgs...each bag should not be more than 25kg.

From UK to Pakistan
Economy class - 40kg
Business class - 50kg
Each bag should not be more than 32 kg..
And remember if you do change your dates of return whilst staying in Pakistan, make sure the bag allowance states UK allowance otherwise they will put local allowance which is 10 kg less to avoid any un-necessary problem on the day of travel

think twice before flying with PIA. the incident that happened yesterday can change your mind about the “baa-kamaal log, laa-jawqaab service”.
the PIA flight from Tokyo to Lahore was diverted two cities. passengers were delayed for 24 hours and then they tried to take them to their destination [Lahore] via Islamabad [to drop off connecting passengers there]. the extremely frustrated passengers started to protest in flight and refused to go to Islamabad. they forced the crew to go to Lahore first…the crew caved in and landed in Lahore.
that wasn’t enough…the crew went through their own frustration and called in the police who arrested 6 passengers for their hangaama aboard the flight.
PIA has gone from one of the best airlines to one of the worst in less than 10 years.

This is nothing new, you can expect this kind of thing from PIA.
The unfortunate thing is that some of us particularly with families/kids have no option but to chose PIA as it’s a direct flight.

true...but again it's worth the hassle of changing planes rather than to receive such treatment.
these people forget that they need travelers to keep their jobs and livelihood, travelers have other options.
