Re: Birmingham - Bridal shops
ok there's quite a lot of variety, which part of Birmingham are you going to?Best places to shop for weddings are soho road which has shops like silons, mairs,Badials etc which have mainly modern lengha's but there are a lot of other shops with traditional heavy lengha's.Alum rock has a lot more shops now such as sache, memsaab, desire, Adaa etc which have heavy formals, I went a week ago and the prices for ready made formals are around £85+ but I think you can bargain if you get a few outfits from the same place. There are loads of jewellers on Soho road, Alum rock and Stratford road. Stratford road is perfect for loose material if you want unstitched formals. There's a shop on Alum rock which looks pretty average and they sell house items but they also do mehndi taals, confetti, all little bits and pieces but there's another one(i forgot the name) which had everything you would want for a mehndi as well as decorations and garlands etc. Last time I checked mehndi cones were around a pound and thaals were around £3/4. I think once again you can bargain if you get a few. Oh yh and there's also sandal house, witton shoes for sandals amongst a few others that have good offers on at the moment in Alum rock. If not them then there's always bisma and panache on ladypool road, also a few clothes shops which are also quite good. I'd say if you are looking for indian type lengha's then Soho road is best for you but if you are more after pakistani/traditional lengha's then Alum rock and a few shopson Ladypool road(khushboos, meena bazaar, world of fashion) .
Hope that helps;)
