Anyone on here have a membership to Birchbox?
It seems a pretty cool way to try out new things without having to invest a whole lot into it right off the bat.

There was another thread on this. I cancelled my subscription though. But I heard last month they gave out Beauty Blender sponges which is kinda' cool.

I'd like to find out too! I haven't been too thrilled with the last 2 glambags, the first one was the best one...I wasn't subscribed then. I'm going to try the next one out, if I don't like it this time either i'm canceling...3 strikes and they're out!

I've been a subscriber to Birchbox since maybe August and initially I didn't like it but now I'm beginning to like the stuff they've been sending! I mean $10 a month isn't bad to try out the new products. I personally can't stand Michelle Phan :P so I would never try out anything endorsed or created by her lol not to be mean.
Some of my favorite products from the birchbox up until this point have been:
- Dermalogica microexfoliating face wash ( a deluxe size sample)
- Eye rock designer eye liner (stick on eyeliner; which is great for people who don't know how to create that perfect cat-eye)
- A full size stila eye liner (amazing quality and I LOVE the color)
- Origins checks and balances face wash (deluxe size)
- Jouer luminizing tint (tinted moisturizer; really nice)
- Amica Obliphica Hair Treatment (combo of argan, moroccan and something else)
- Zoya nail polishes (two deluxe sizes)
- Jouer lip conditioner (absolutely love)
- Redken Shine Flash Glistening mist (really good sized sample; gives a great shine to hair)
- AHAVA mineral body lotion (really good travel size and love the scent)
This sounds like I listed all the products but you get 4-5 or sometimes 6 in every box and theres some that I liked but didn't want to make the list super long. So I think its a good thing to try out...I've liked it as the months go by even more. I think it really depends on your beauty profile that you initially create so they send you products accordingly but some stuff is the same in everyone's box I believe in terms of the product that is highlighted that month.
I think it doesn't hurt to try it out but I think they probably make their boxes better the longer people stick with them and initially the boxes maybe aren't that great but I couldve just not had great luck with it. Let me know if you guys try it out!! :)

Ditto what Pseudonymous said! I hope this month's will be good. Though I did like the cucumber mask they sent as well as the NYX shimmer roll-on... Unfortunately their subscriptions have been closed for a while...
I didn't like birchbox very much. They sent out way too many lotion samples, and not nice ones either. No make-up either in the 2 months I got it.

I liked Birchbox's website but it seems as if the samples on MyGlam are bigger and most seem to be full size rather than just deluxe sample size. Is that right?

The whole sold out thing is such a publicity stunt so that more people can want it and go crazy over subscribing when it opens up again lol

^Very true! Lol! I hope they listen to everyone's feedback and send out more make-up samples though... they've definitely been doing better than Birchbox in that regard, but are still sending too many skincare items. And their Nume $100 gift card for hair-styling tools was sadly useless for me...

I had birchbox for 8 months. Cancelled my subscrpiction last december and signed up for MyGlam from there on. I prefer MyGlam over birchbox anyday.

I agree I liked the NYX glitter roll on myself, I got a taupe/gold one it's really pretty! have you used your $100 gift card to NuMe yet?

Nope. Don't know what to use it on, since I'm not a fan of extensions and don't need a straightener or a hair dryer... My shimmer roll-on is gold too! :)
