I don’t think I would ever be able to forgive that bodice or the hair even though I like the sleeves. :naraz:

Would she look good in dark colors barring black which is glamorous in itself.

idk its just too much pink n gold though i love pink but more brighter tones like haute pink

I like it, it is neither weierd nor wah. In indian culture it is not uncommon to wear such necklines and bodices, there are so many differnet variations of anarkalis 'in' nowadays both in pak and india, it is hard to know what is good or what is bad anymore, to me there is esthtically nothing wrong with this dress, and don't mind this color on her either. atleast she didn't wear one of those silly anarkalis that are like mid thigh length and churidar(atleats here in india) it look very silly...
the hair, hmm not sure could have a bit less mountainy :)

I like the way it falls because of the fabric but I agree with mahi that bodice is just not working

I like the Anarkali minus that velvety bodice,too blingy/ bollywood style

I quite like it - the neckline not for myself but she is in Bollywood and i believe that outfit was worn for a TV appearance hence the need for it to be a bit on the loud side

as for colour i think its a very pretty colour and works with her dark complexion - the thinking that darker complexions should stick to dark colours is a bit outdated in my opinion.

I was wondering that..

I don't think darker girls should stay away from all light colours, Sunita Marshall looked gorgeous in her white wedding gown and baby blue and aqua look better on tanned or darker skins than pale skin imo.. I do think dusky pink is hard to pull off tho..
