Hey there.
It’s my wedding in Sept inshAllah! I have been reading your posts for a long time on forum now 
and have been able to gain a lot of info. I really need to decide NOW which artist to consider for makeup.
I have booked Anam Falak and paid advance, but lately heard from her brides that she does good makeup but in real it is NOT appealing, only in pictures it seems good.
I am thinking to prefer Bina Khan. SHould i? I am so confused. Please help. Thanks. Xx

Is BINA KHAN worth trying for BARAT? I can prefer ANAM then on Valima..

i know about a bride who got ready by anam then later she washed her face and rushed to allenora annie :).. acc to her, her base was daanedaar and more yellowish n she got crack lines. her sis got party makeup by allenora annie, so she rushed to allenora as well. annie's base was good enough. i personally msgd natasha's bride n askd her experience. she told she was 110% satisfied and natasha is such a lovely person. she does things again again again until bride is satisfied.

From my personal experience I will say go to anams for barat and shamain for valima..m!ig no to bina khan for sure! Plus it seems anam and shamain have taken over all of karachi brides anyway

natasha charges:
*bridal with services=30k
*bridal without services=25k
*valima=25k
*nikah/engagemnet=20k(inc dopatta jewelry set,nail paint,hairdo)
*party makeup by natasha=6k without hairdo
*party makeup by sabrina=4k without hairdo
*blowdry=500-1000
hairstyling=1000-3000
both natasha and sabrina are grandaughters of madam noor jehan. hairstyling is done by their mother hina durrani who gives a bride alot of advices and duas as well.

I have booked Anam for both the days.
Shamain I ruled out because of her outrageous charges. 35K for one day. 5 K for services and if you book her for both days, you get 5K off services and you end up paying 70 K to her. Too much of money. Besides, a friend of mine who had a worth to die for extravagant wedding and wore Bunto was a Shamain bride. Personally IMHO, Shamain didn't do justice to the Bunto jora.

Bina Khan I ruled out after seeing a friend who opted for her on both days. She looked like everyone here is saying. Total washed out with a hint of a dull mauve lip colour and another beautiful jora from PLK gone wasted.
Anam I opted as I have also attended makeup classes form her. There, in front of my eyes, real brides used to NAG her to death by asking for zillion changes and nth time reverting back to what Anam had done in the first place!!! Can you have this luxury with Bina or Shamain !!! I SEVERELY DOUBT.

Anam has terrible reviews, women have posted about her being rude, not showing up at all and picking physical flaws in the brides' features. I'd say anyone but Anam. Her pictures are heavily edited and bride looked unhappy (the real ones I have seen).

I did a course with ANAM and I must say her makeup in real life doesn't look good at all. I'm sure she edits her pictures. The eye makeup especially looked very messy

If any bride can afford Bina Khan, go for Bina Khan. :)
I got my wedding makeup done from Anam and have no regrets BUT it was crowded. Plus Anam nowadays only does the eyes and instructs the helpers/assistants to do the base, blush and lip. The end result is fab, but you don't really pay a high price to get assistants do half the work. :)

Disagree with the pics being edited. Best to ask the brides whose pics are put up, they would tell you that this was not so. She uses a high end DSLR so the image quality is great.

I got my nikkah makeup done from Anams, while anam was fully booked maha (anams assistant) did my makeup
She was really sweet and listened to what I said. The best thing about Anams is the hair team the hair team does fabulous job on every single client
My pictures turned out amazing as well, the only problem was my makeup base was too glossy and I have an oily skin so I was founding it difficult to carry but thankfully the pictures resulted great.
The guests had mixed opinion about the makeup some loved it others didnot.
I have my rukhsati in december and I want a traditional bridal look please suggest whether I should go to rukkaiya bina khan mona j or anam
