So I thought I would write a little review on my experience with Bina Khan and Sabs. I got my mehndi make-up done my Bina Khan and my Nikkah (Wedding ceremony) make-up done by Sabs salon, both of these salons are located in Karachi.
Bina Khan:
The make-up was done fabulously by Bina, it was light, not heavy nor was it cakey. Just right for a mehndi event. She is very punctual which I loved. I got ready in time, actually I was ready about 10 mins before schedule and everything was done just right. The only thing I had to struggle with was with my dupatta setting. The girls who were trying to set my dupatta didn’t seem to understand how to do it, they were quite confused, thankfully my aunt stepped in and helped them out. Other than that, I was satisfied with her work. She was polite with me and talked to me with manners. I had no issues with her so I would recommend her IF you want your make-up to look simple and not overdone.
SABS:
Oh boy… Where do I start? People who said Sabs was like a factory machine, it was. Although, the work they do is fabulous, it’s just the wait is ridiculous. They have like 20 girls at one time. I wished they were more punctual with their timing. I had my appointment at 2:00pm and I only got my hair done, nothing else but my hair at 4:00pm. I had to wait 2 hours just for me hair. After the hair, I got my make-up done by Saba which I waited another 2 hours for, so I only got my make-up done at 6, and I had to be out of the salon by 6. After getting my make-up done, they sent me downstairs for my dupatta setting and jewelry wear which didn’t take long at all. So, I was out by about 6:45pm. I was 45 minutes behind schedule. I do admit though, the end result was awesome. The work they do is absolutely beautiful, it’s just it takes so long to get it all done because most of the time, you are just waiting around for your turn to come. I would recommend them but I would advise you to book an appointment about 5 hours before your event.
So, overall, I loved both my events make-up. I was completely satisfied with how my make-up turned out at both my mehdni and wedding.
