Someone mentioned fawad doing khuda ke liye when there was "more desperate need for new-age cinema than today". Well one film alone doesn't revive cinema or influence new age cinema so the contribution of khuda ke liye is negligible as that was just one experimental film in ten years and never led to a revival of industry. secondly, fawad himself was a small time actor back then and didn't have any choice. He's what he's today because of the success of Humsafar and the major credit goes to the producers and the director Sarmad.

Bin Roye has done excellent business as occupancies rose this Week over the last one and last one was Eid Week.. Film has collected over 7.15cr approx in 14 Days with 3.65cr approx in 2nd Week which is better than Week one.Film is running very well and has held decent number of shows today and is heading towards lifetime run around 9cr approx.. Film is a big hit as genre was not friendly but yet big name in the cast has helped film a lot.

Watched it yesterday, thought it was excellent for pakistani film, in terms of picture quality, costumes and songs. Story was better in first half than in second.
But a great film, didn't look like a pakistani film. Really enjoyed watching it in the cinema, the big screen and all, watching it online Would not have done it justice.

Bin Roye 3rd Weekend Business :: Rock Steady
Bin Roye fell over 55% this Weekend to register another very solid Weekend.. As there were two new releases hence show space was destined to get hit which meant fall in numbers but film has registered very good number.. Film collected 85lacs approx over the Weekend..
Film has taken it’s total till date to 8.1cr approx and will be crossing 9cr makr by next Week.. Lifetime run of the film is looking to end around 9.5cr approx which will be 6th biggest Urdu grosser of all time.. Film has been a solid hit of the season as film genre was not friendly.. Below is 3rd Weekend daily business..

Saw the movie in Virginia last weekend. It was a very enjoyable experience because the turnout was great( half the theater was full), Mahira looked gorgeous, production quality was good, great clothes , nice songs. However the story lacked a soul as did all the characters. They were all almost cartoony. Additionally the story was confusing and all over the place. It was evident that the writer was used to writing 20 hours of content and not 2.5 and it felt much like a badly edited drama that had been chopped here and there to go from 20 to 2.5 hours. The whole armeena adoption discovery didn't need to be part of the main narrative and didn't do much for the main storyline.
I think the main reason for the success is Mahira Khan. And the fact that the Indian distribution giant B4U invested a lot in promotion and distribution of this movie.

Having seen a few recent Pakistani movies, I rate Main Hoon Shahid Afridi as a true entertainment movie and Zinda Bhaag as overall best movie . Zinda bhag is now on Netflix and has a great storyline and well written characters. The only issue with it is naseeruddin shahs unconvincing punjabi accent. Try as he may, the poor guy cannot say "nikul dee ay " ( as in gullaan wichon gul nikul dee ay)
