kewl, lets see if the jackass has been caught.
does it make it tougher now as to what to do if he is caught? i.e. would his loony tune crew start creating havoc again? and would he try to further his cause by trying to lodge a bigger divide by creating further animosity between lets say saudis and uS for example by making false claims to increase suspicions.
I would have been happier had his bones been discovered in some cave in afghanistan, cuz thsi guy is going to be a problem in general.
White House is denying this.
Probably caught one of the other guys with a beard...probably my chacha from Peshawar?
I don't know if anyone is familiar, but once upon a time there were a lot of Italian mafiosos in Philly and New York. Back then the crime was somewhat regulated and predictable. Now they've caught most of them and the others have gone south. In their absence a new breed has risen: the ethnic gangs. These folks are a lot more ruthless, mostly because there is no leadership, no structure, no morals.
Could capturing bin Laden actually lead to more chaotic terrorist activity? Also, looks like some of the old European commie terror groups are reforming...
FoxNews is reporting of an intense manhunt for OBL in Pakistan’s southwestern Baluchistan region.

It sounds as if OBL’s world is getting smaller and smaller.
Spoon: It appears to me as if OBL’s capture would likely be of more symbolic importance at this stage than of practical importance. The capture of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed is of more practical significance. OBL has been reduced to a symbol of Al Qaeda. As the vase that was Al Qaeda gets further shattered, I would agree that the fragments will form smaller organizations. I think those are less dangerous. The planning, preparation and implementation of “big events” sort of requires an organizational structure and financial backing that is not in existence for the small offshoots.
It will happen soon very soon.
Better phone my chacha tommorow just in case, and tell him to load the donkey with kalishnikovs and head for the hills.

how do u know, u his chacha's donkey? :)
My chacha used to do a mean cha cha cha. I phoned him and the worst has been confirmed, the fbeye airlifted mannu out this last night. My chacha put on a brave face and said he'd been lame for a while and it took 148 special forces and two bomber sorties to pin the donkey down.
Even tho Pak is denying, but there is a speculation that a special op is underway at the moment NWFP/FATA/FANA areas to hunt OBL.

Bin Laden’s Sons Reportedly Arrested
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A Pakistani provincial minister announced Friday that two sons of Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) were arrested in southwestern Afghanistan (news - web sites) in a joint operation involving Pakistani and U.S. forces. U.S. counterterrorism officials disputed the claim.
Seven other al-Qaida men were killed in the operation in which Saad and Hamza bin Laden were arrested in the Rabat region, Zehri said. He said the sons may have been injured in the operation.
Saad, believed to be 23 years old and bin Laden’s eldest son, is also on the American most-wanted list and has been said to be a rising star in the terror network.
The al-Qaida leader is believed to have up to 23 sons by several wives.
“They were arrested from Rabat area in Afghanistan,” Zehri told The Associated Press in a telephone interview. Rabat is located in the extreme southwestern tip of Afghanistan where it borders Pakistan and Iran.
Zehri is the home minister — in charge of security — in Pakistan’s Baluchistan province.
In Washington, U.S. counterterrorism officials strongly disputed the claim. They said they had no information that would suggest any of the sons had been detained.
A U.S. official told an AP Radio reporter at the White House: “We, in fact, think it’s wrong.”
osama bint laden has built his own provisional world cup squad , 23 sons wow, thats a hefty number, does he remeber all of their names in chronological order, hmnnnnnnnn ![]()
Reuters is citing “an ABC News report that said it had learned the CIA and Pakistani Army are electronically tracking a large caravan of people on foot and horseback that may include bin Laden through the rugged mountain area of Pakistan between the borders with Iran and Afghanistan.”

This comes on the heals of a Pakistani official saying 2 of OBL’s sons have been wounded or arrested in an Afghan/US raid “in the Ribat area, where the borders of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran meet.”

It makes sense that the capture of Al Qaeda’s number three man might have sent OBL and other key Al Qaeda people scurrying to find new lodging fearing that their current whereabouts would be compromised. Sort of like turning on the lights sends the cockroaches scurrying for the floorboards.

This is where Bush's cowboy mentality may finally come in handy. Hopefully he gave orders to cut them off at the pass.
