GCC Countries shall announce projects worth billions of dollars… Kuwait has already awarded 2 contracts to build a motorway and a hospital, these contracts are valued at around USD 3 Billion… Same is going to be in Saudi and Qatar this year.. Question is, how many Pakistani companies are there who can try to win the contract or take the project as a “Sub-Contract” from the bid-winner…

We sue each other in Swiss courts, we do not build $$billion projects. So the companies generally do not have experience.

U r right to certain extent, two years back i helped a Pakistani company to win a bid for mass transit project in Jordan, end of the day, they were not good enough to keep the project....
We should not let go the swiss case and at same time, Pakistani banks and private companies should look abroad for contracts... however contracts abroad cannot be won on zardari/nawaz basis....one have to deliver
