Who remembers Carl Sagans wonderful series Cosmos. For its time it was very vivid and informative piece of scientific documentary.
Watching the recent spate of documentaries on the Discovery channel about Dinosarus, where we are shown the history of earth by looking at computer renditions of animals, I am always amazed at how much Mr Sagan was able to achieve with the technology they had in the early 80s!..
When I was younger I didnt have much interest in astronomy, therefore I saw Cosmos on one or two occasions. Now that I have built an interest in astronomy, the show no longer airs! sigh
