Forgive me if I am wrong, but your post seemed like another one of those sly opportunistic chaff talk to mock, ridicule and chastise PTI - for taking a stance against rigging in a manner never seen before in the history of Pakistan - when they actually have nothing to do with a subject of this thread. It’s like some people really cannot make any relevant point whatsoever without dragging PTI into it, they feel their post is totally worthless and unworthy of any attention if it doesn’t include any cheap pot shots at PTI. Of course, I’m not saying you do that. But that’s okay, you are free to follow PTI as closely and passionately as you like and I’m glad you brought them up because that enables me to counter the misinformation that I see in your posts so very often.

First of all, you need to get rid of the habit of propagating that PTI is “only crying dhandhlee dhandhlee” because they didn’t win from rural districts. False. Absolutely baseless propagation. Anyone who believes in such tripe can get himself and readers out of their misery and just tell us all, for once and for all, that out of all the rigged constituencies put forward by PTI for investigation, how many of them belong to rural areas? Unless you have an answer to that, it is simply quite a mawkish trickery to constantly discredit a serious and a historical anti rigging stance of a political party by propagating that they are only “crying dhandhleee” because they didn’t win from rural areas known as stronghold of status quo parties.

As for the constant self pleasing dumbing down of rural vote bank with such dogmatic assertion that those people are dumb, illiterate and ‘lowly’ therefore they vote for the criminal parties like PPP and Nawaz Leeg is becoming an unraveling myth. I remember the same rubbish was spewed by Nawaz Sharif fan boys for Saad Rafique NA 125 constituencies. If all the poor, illiterate and “lowly” people living on the outskirts of DHA had voted for Saad Rafqiue, then why were his polling bags filled with litter? Where the are the votes of those poor and illiterate labourers? So I reckon you have to take such politically biased vindication with a pinch of salt. Besides, the reaction of flood victims over Punjab’s government criminal negligence and mismanagement clearly highlighted the seething anger and frustration brewing in those areas. It seems like those people are finally realising that they’ve been betrayed by parties who’d been ruling them for not years, but decades. Those people may vote for these party to respect biradrism, or out of fear of being outcast by the the community or simply as a result of intimidation. But a well focused awareness campaign specifically designed to educated rural communities can make these people realise the power of their votes, and what to expect in return for casting your vote.

As with PTIians not expecting the results, another baseless and senseless mudslinging against PTI supporters, and nothing else. Do you actually know PTI is in coalition with JI in KPK? Did you ever see PTI or their supporters rejecting JI’s mandate or even questioning it despite the fact Khan had always been extremely popular in that part of Pakistan? So yes, it is quite silly to keep harping about how PTI is in denial that it has very limited influence in rural areas or the party is only taking a strong stance against rigging because Thar or Kassoki failed to vote for them.

I have seen some of rural politics and I am simply reflecting on it. I may be wrong but i can at least reflect on my experiences.

First and foremost, rural voters do not vote for PMLN or PPP.

yes some rural voters get emotional by bhutto card (mostly in sindh and siraiki belt) but for most part in rural punjab, rural voters do not vote for PMLN or PPP. They vote for the candidate who belongs to their bradari and will walk with them to zila council to solve their problems…at this point PMLN has more of those electable candidates. punjab constituencies have rajputs, jats and arians for most part and normally two of them will unite against the third one for variety of reasons and that will shape the result of that constituency. I always said that rural politics is very complicated and driven by bradari system, local dharay bazi, and generational animosities. Rural voter is actually very street smart and knows how to survive in the system. that is all. You disagree. fine

Bottomline janab, you dont need to convince me for that and i dont need to convince you. next elections will decide it. All i hope that PTI accepts elections results…that is all and yes if PTI wins the majority, i have no problem accepting it.

and yes I criticize PTI and Imran khan politics and that is my right. and if my arguments are “silly and nonsense” then they should obviously not impact anyone’s thinking and you shd not worry abt them. but if you still have problem with my arguments, there is an easy solution, stop reading my senseless comments and stop quoting me. I do the same and never quote you. You quoted me so i responded.
