Not talking about Bilawal. he is a non-entity right now, trying his best to get noticed. My question was about talibans who doesn't seem to be pro-peace. Do you think there are Islamic as you have titled secular those who oppose them.
as topic is bilawal so i commented on what he said. there are sources that suggest taliban have been contacting govt for dialogue.
but "truth" is only what is coming from those having power to spread the "truth".
Taliban are very much aware of that their "sharia" would not be accepted by govt. So there might be some other things that we can negotiate on.

I said this in the other thread, I am repeating myself here let his party clear Karachi of Taliban first. It was his grandfather who declared qadiyanis non Muslims, his mother who helped create Taliban and his party is supporting talks with TTP. We have seen the performance of this party otherwise, if still people want to fall for him go for it.

Bilawal is too young and inexperienced person to be taken seriously as he is hardly aware of the on-ground dimensions of the problem. Bilawal has been given the media pedestal so that he acts as the face of media's intentions to undermine peace talks. Everyone in every quarter has his doubts on the whole process of talks, but if the state has decided to give it a chance, the idea should be given fair chance to succeed from all quarters. But the problem is that the state's ideas seem to have been run down by personal agendas.
Position taken by Khurshid Shah in National Assembly and Bilawal's announcement of Jihad against the TTP are poles apart. We have no fair idea about the official position of the party. While most of the stake-holders in Pakistan are holding adaptable positions, PPP is playing the best fence-sitting game. It has created itself a win-win situation in anyway the talks end up. Khurshid Shah's support for talks will win the party accolades for seeking peaceful end to the crisis while Bilawal's push for action will bring rewards to the party if talks fizzle out.

Agree with everything on Bilawal. But being the chairman of PPP, he has millions of listeners & then second largest political party. His words weight a lot, and it takes some courage to speak up like that in such a mess.
He could be a target, both of his speeches were in public. I don't rule out a suicide or something on him.

Any chance of him declaring Jihad against his father and PPP for backing the negotiations and twice voting in unanimous anti drone resolutions in the Parliament?
Anyway, I'm an optimistic person and if his Twitter Jihad end violence in Karachi and brings lasting peace then more power to him. If his thunder tweets can make Karachi a shining example of success then why not.

PPP under it's new chairman Billy the Brave attends APC, agrees to hold Talks, passes anti drone resolution, their ex Chairman and President of Pakistan plus their key parliamentarians publicly backs Peace Talks, and still you remain passionately obsessed with IK's blunder which is basically the official policies of all major parties.
