Bilal (r.a.)'s love for Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.)

The video is short, but the message is precise and very direct.

Where did we go wrong? :frowning: Why don’t our hearts pour out when we hear the blessed name of the Prophet (s.a.w.) :frowning:

Re: Bilal (r.a.)'s love for Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.)

Those blessed people had to go through a long struggle for Islam. They embraced Islam after understanding the ideology behind it, unlike today's Muslims. Most of us are Muslims today because, we inherited it from our parents.

You're right. It's amazing that the likes of me want to do the bare minimum for the Deen, yet I'm so hopeful that I would end up in the highest of Jannahs. On what merit?

Our role models of Deen were such that Umar (r.a.) was given the assured glad tidings of being one of the people of Jannah, yet he feared that if a single deed comes up short on the day of reckoning he would be cast in Hellfire.

Re: Bilal (r.a.)'s love for Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.)

when "Hubb-ul-dunyaa" [love of this world] superseded "Hubb-ul-Allah" [love of Allah]...

i cried when i watched this documentary in which, after the "FataH Makkah" [conquest of Mekkah], Prophet [SAWS] remembered one person before he could meet the so-called "noblest of the nobles" of Mekkah and guess who that saHaabii was? it was none other than Hazrat Bilal [RA]. Allaho Akbar.

"Hubb-ul-maut wa karaahiyat-ud-dunyaa" ko ham ne "Hubb-ud-dunyaa aur karaahiyat-ul-maut" se badal diyaa...yehii hamaarii bad-naseebii hai!
