How do you get rid of them? And how do you further prevent them from occurring again?
Im talking about the ones you end up getting bc of ingrown’s that actually LEAVE a darkened spot that is actually like a bump. I HATE IT! They look so nasty..I do realize it happens bc of shaving.
I think skin darkens in places like underarms and bikini area esp bc of shaving also. I have no idea why though. But how do those who DO shave those area’s instead of waxing, keep it from getting dark? Or how do you lighten it? Im actually light skinned so these darkened parts are very noticeable and look terribly awful and nasty.
Lol, no no, they arent that bad! I used to work at a salon and seen women with these kinds of bumps all the time. I just dont exactly know the proper route for removing the blemishes.
You are right, they just dont go by scrubbing, if you keep moisturizing the area regularly they do lighten though over like a couple of months, but they dont go back to 'like there were no bumps'
one waxing lady told me about a cream called "No bumps", its for after waxing/shaving, you put it on the bikini line and it prevents in-grown hairs. The only thing you can do is prevent more from happening by exfoliating the area. Dont exfoliate right after you wax or shave, but wait one or two days and then exfoliate. My underarms had gotten very dark from waxing, now I did laser on them, and I changed to a moisturizing deodarent, and they have lightened again.
^^^i use thatttttt!!...its good, but not for the kind of bumps im talking about. im talking about the ones the happen bc of ingrowns. i think we need some Gina Advice....
my skin is too sensitive for waxing.. one time my skin peeled off with the wax.
my skin gets burned or stays red for days or i get bumps when i wax... so ya.
plus its too painful.
